Regito AB has done the whole electric design,
PLC programming, instruction book and film on behalf of
EMVE i Åstorp AB
for their latest packaging machine development.
Technology
The machine is controlled by a modular Mitsubishi
Q-series PLC-system. Air cylinders can be stopped in middle
positions due to the very fast reaction speed of this system giving
quick and easy switching between different paper bag sizes.
The internal communication is carried out by a flexible
PROFIBUS® network to the
valves in a separate pneumatic cabinet. Four wires eliminates the need of
hundreds of ordinary connections increasing the reliability and reducing
the cabinet size.
Then we interface to a more cost efficient Cube67 CANBUS network with 7
IP67 rated modules located close to the functions in the machine.
The machine is controlled from a
Beijer Electronics
E300 terminal which happens to fit the machine functions perfectly.
There is extensive fault finding messages to quickly
help the operator if a problem arises, for example if a sensor needs to
be adjusted.
Customers
The first machines are already producing for
customer's sites in Sweden, Norway and Canada. Several others, some of
them made of stainless steel, are under construction. We wish
EMVE and their customers good luck with their new machines.
Please contact
Regito AB if you are interested to do an automation development work
