 | Musicians & singersJohan has followed and photographed the Röke Blås Big Band youth orchestra during several years. The photos are used as marketing material for their tours and LP record as well as CD. During 2007 we also produced a video trailer (filmed in High Definition) which was shown in USA to promote their large tour in several states 2007.
2005 we did a photo exhibition in Hässleholm KulturHus to celebrate the 50th birthday of Röke Blås. Many photos were sold and you can watch some of them here. |

 | WeddingsSome of the wedding photos we have done. We usually shoot with Hasselblad cameras to get the maximum quality for large enlargements. Then a professional lab will make large prints on canvas etc according to the desire of the customer. The lab also scans the films to make very nice digital prints. In the church and reception we usually photograph with digital cameras for a faster and cheaper post processing. The best of both worlds!
I'm sorry to say to all digital photographers: When we have photographed with both Hasselblad and Canon digital camera the best photos are always produced by the Hasselblad and analog film. |

 | AfricaHeléne and Johan like to travel in Africa, especially under primitive circumstances. We have driven twice from Sweden all the way through the Sahara desert and further down during 4 or 5 months each time. Then we have made a dozen of self planned journeys which have taken us into: Algeria-Niger-Nigeria-Cameroon-Togo-Benin-Ghana-Ivory Coast-Burkina Faso-Mali-Senegal-Morocco-Uganda-Kenya-Tanzania-Zambia-Zimbabwe-Botswana-Mozambique-South Africa and Egypt.
Johan did his diploma work for Master of Science at the University of Zambia and Heléne has carried out research about water quality in several countries in Africa. Heléne has also planned and led travels for students and MFS workers (Minor Field Studies) for SIDA. As a Doctor of Biology she now has a lot of interesting contacts with colleges in several african countries about water quality issues. |

 | Aerial photosJohan is an instrument rated private pilot and likes to photograph interesting sights from the cockpit. Most flights are done with small single engine sport aircrafts with 2–7 seat. Many interesting things can be seen and photographed from a small aircraft from a relatively low hight about 500–5000 ft (300–3000 m).
Unfortunately all photographs over Swedish terrain has to be examined by the Swedish Military prior to publish which makes it cumbersome to show the whole collection. Let's hope this old remain from the cold war time will disappear. At least it is hard to justify when GoogleEarth covers the whole earth with better and better satellite images which are free for all to watch. However, these photos are shot vertical and an aerial photo shot from a bird´s view is usually much more pleasant and interesting with a much better depth. |
